Our Comact DVR as been on the fritz for awhile and we finally got to make an appointment to have our Comcast box looked at. It was good that we did because we found out that we have a very old version of the Comcast DVR box, which we kinda knew, but it had worked fine for a long time, we have ad it for more than 2 years. When the Comcast technician was here he told us that there is a brand new box that just came out 3 weeks ago and we got one! woohoo!

Needless to say, our color correction problem is fixed and we have a new top of the line Comcast DVR box. So it all worked out in the end. I would recommend that if you have an older model DVR box that you trade it in for a new model.

I was watching Howard TV the other day and Steve O was on the show and he was talking about his new TV Show ” Dr. Steve O”. I decided to check out the website for Dr. Steve O and there is some neat stuff on there.

You can read all about the new TV show that airs on the USA Network including an episode guide, the Steve O bio, other show guests bio’s and so much more. There are videos, exclusives, games and mobile phone extra’s. The show starts on October 1st at 11:05pm. The show is soo bad that it has to be shown late late at night. I have not seen it as of yet, but I will schedule my DVR to record it so I can check it out.

Starting this week TLC is having new shows in the Ready Set Learn morning section of their shows. This is great, especially for me as a mom, since I have been watching the same shows over and over and over with my daughter each morning.

The shows that are on in the morning are great for kids of all ages, my daughter is 1 and she loves them. The shows are: The Doodlebops, Hip Hop Harry, Hi-5, Peep and the Big Big World, Meteor and the Mighty Monster Trucks, and some others. I record these shows so my daughter can watch them at other times during the day too.
