I am an avid listener of the Howard Stern show as well as Howard TV on Demand. I like to keep myself up to date on what is going on with Howard and his crew. I was on vacation for 10 days recently and I had no Sirius radio to listen to so I got thrown off as to what was going on with Howard. As I was driving home from the airport I heard that Artie got into a fight with his assistant and was in a fight and also said he was going to leave the show. Is this true? I cannot believe this. I have been trying to find more info on this and have had no luck. I really hope Artie is staying as I have grown close to the Howard Stern crew and Artie is just soo funny.
I listen to the Music Choice channels on Comcast Cable quite often, and there are some great channels. They have so many to choose from including: R&B, Rap, Smooth Jazz, Reggae, Hip Hop, Easy Listening and so many more. You are sure to find one that fits your taste. And, all the MC channels are included in your Comcast setup.
They have newer songs as well as oldies channels. I put on the Easy Listening channels when my baby is sleeping, and it makes for great background noise. There are titles to all the songs right on the TV and fun facts about the bands and photo’s.
You can’t really call it Napster anymore, but the current iteration of the music service is still around, and is still treading water (although losing money). Quarter 4 reports show overall sales of $28 million coming from 830,000 paying subscribers. 40K of those signing up in Q4 alone.
The bad news is that Napster still lost about $10 million, but for a company in this arena and with this kind of backing that’s really pocket change.

While browsing Napster I found an interesting note in their FAQ pages:
Can I Really Listen to Napster Music for Free?
Yes. Here’s how it works. You can search our catalog of 3 million songs and stream songs up to 3 times each for FREE. After the 3rd free play of any single track, you can either purchase the track or become a Napster subscriber…
I tried this with an Akon track (Don’t Matter) and to my surprise it’s actually correct. The site launched a pop up and within seconds the song started playing. I do wonder how they track you, if it’s cookies that’s easy to get around, and if it’s IP based that is also relatively easy to thwart.
