Sending a Valentine e-card is very popular nowadays especially since friends and family do not always live near you and it is so easy to create an online e-card and send it off. You don’t have to pay for postage and your not wastefully using paper that will be thrown away a week later. There are some great websites out there that have FREE e-cards and if you prefer there are websites where you can pay for an e-card as well. Either way, e-cards are a great idea for all occasions and I will definitely be sending some this Valentine’s Day.

I love watching Martha Stewart in the morning. There really isn’t much else on that is entertaining at that same time, and I love Martha. She always has the best crafting ideas, recipes, guests and more. I am a do it your selfer so I will usually try to make what Martha makes at some point. On todays she Martha shows how to make paper cut cards for Valentines day and they look really cute but time consuming. There is even a template right on Martha’s website to help you make your cards.

A couple years back I decided to give my relatives and family members small bonsai trees for Christmas. I have to say that it was a GREAT idea because everyone loved them! They were a big hit and I was given one as a gift too. I still have mine and it is doing great. I only know of two that I gave that died and it was because the owners did not water them. Giving a small plant like a bonsai is a great idea, it will stay will people for a long long time, and they are very low maintenance. I bought mine from a local who sells them on his website here.
