I recently was driving past a jeep dealership and a vehicle caught my eye up on a stand in the front of the dealership and it happened to be the Jeep Compass. I have not seen one before and I was surprised by the way it looked. At first I thought it was an SUV they way they had it propped up and stuff, but a closer look told me that it was a car or what Jeep calls a crossover. The Compass does look to have a lot of room in the inside. The interior looks nice too. However the tires are not very large and It does not have real 4×4, but it does have all wheel drive which is great for the driving conditions where I live. I have not driven it, but I may give it a shot.
I found this video of the proving grounds owned by Ford. The video shows 3 full size trucks, the F-150 the new Tundra from Toyota and the Silverado from Chevy. It’s pretty obvious who comes out ahead in keeping it’s composure and overall smooth ride. I would be interested in seeing video from inside the cabin so see if the wobbly Tundra is much different than Ford and Chevy’s offerings.
I found this amazing paint job on a Toyota MR2 depicting several scenes from the Terminator 2 movie which glows in the dark! Apparently it’s a Russian owned car and looks amazing at night, scroll down to the bottom of the page to see some night time photos of this crazy MR2 paint job.
One commenter is claiming the effect only lasts for a few seconds (oh well):
“Phosphor paint. It was sitting in a garage with 10,000W of lights on it. Then they were turned off and picture taken. It glows like that for 3 seconds.”
