Below is a collection of Robot videos I found this morning while perusing YouTube. There have been some pretty fantastic gains in robotics the last 10 years and we’re starting to see some very capable robot systems being demonstrated and brought into the market. I’m even looking at a robotic vacuum for my wife…I mean myself.

You know, I think Japan is on to something with RI-MAN, what better test base could you ask for in the elderly?

Here we go, this one is much less frightening because it looks like Legos, the X-VEAAT Vehicle Explorer Adaptable All Terrain (catchy).

I’m noticing a trend from the robots here. They usually start out very innocent looking (spider, small car) and then transform into something from Terminator 2 (except smaller and a little less bright)
